Light in Nocturne

This piece was drawn in my favorite coffee shop in my home town, The Lobby In Excelsior. I used the old music pages from a vintage classical music book that I thrifted. I play some of the pieces and draw on others. It makes for a very unique background, I like to think of it as "art on art". The hand being a candle and source of light gives a welcoming sense since we use our hands to gesture "welcoming" or "guiding" hand to others, and piano piece is a nocturne which means "night." Ultimately creating picture representing a guiding light in the dark.
